Cirius Technologies is a mobile advertising services company whose clients and customers include Advertisers, and Publishers. We deliver innovative products and services designed to enable Advertisers to better reach their target audiences with more relevant ads, and Publishers to better support their business through the sale of Advertisements that are more relevant to their Users. Our product offerings and services are currently provided via our mobile advertising platform, AdLocal, which has a self-serve web-interface available at www.adlocal.biz.

This Privacy Policy is intended to provide you with clear and complete information about the data we collect, use, and store in providing services to you. It is incorporated by reference into our Service Agreement, which is also available on www.adlocal.biz. This Privacy Policy uses terms that are defined in the Service Agreement; please refer to the Definitions section of the Service Agreement.

Your privacy is very important to us, and we believe that there are effective ways to increase the relevance of advertising messages without collecting, tracking, using or disclosing any personally identifiable information. We also believe that we can, with your express permission, make marketing messages more useful to you by combining your personal information with other anonymous information.

AdLocal matches Ads submitted by our Advertisers to the Ad Units submitted by our Publishers, by taking into consideration information that may include the information about the location of the Users, the site content, the mobile device or platform, and other information collected from Users. This Privacy Policy below describes Cirius’ policies on the use, privacy and protection of such information.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Personally identifiable information (PII) is any information about consumers such as name, address, or email address that is not otherwise available via public sources; provided, anonymous information collected by aggregating volumes of users is not considered PII under this policy. Cirius Technologies builds and hosts mobile Landing Pages for our clients; PII may be collected in the course of a Landing Page visit as part of the Users' interactions with that Landing Page. Cirius may not use this data in any way that is not authorized by our users, and we will not use PII for ad targeting or for any other purpose.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

AdLocal helps Advertisers and marketers reach potential customers who are interested in receiving information about their products or services. In response to an Advertisement, you may choose to provide directly to an Advertiser, personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and/or email address. Since this information is provided directly to a third party, Cirius does not have access to it. We strongly recommend that you carefully review these Advertisers' privacy policies and Terms of Use/Acceptable Use Policies before submitting personal information to them.

Cirius provides advertising and other services to media brands with a mobile presence, including mobile websites, and applications. This Privacy Policy does not extend to those sites and services, and Cirius is not responsible for the security and privacy practices of those sites and services.

Non-personal Information

Cirius Technologies collects certain non-personal mobile consumer information such as the mobile device, the wireless carrier, site click-thru behavior, ads visited and similar click-stream data. None of this data is considered PII under this policy, and as such, may be used to improve the quality of our services to Advertisers, Publishers and Users. Cirius may also assemble non-personal behavioral, location and/or demographic clusters in order to facilitate optimal ad matching. Technologies used to collect this data include real-time processing of non-personally-identifiable data from Publishers such as zip code, airport code, or semantic expressions of place such as city names or neighborhood names. No PII is used during the ad targeting process and PII is never shared with marketers or other third parties. We utilize the non-personal information described above to improve the relevance of advertisements you see. We believe that more relevant advertising is more useful to you, in addition to being more effective for our advertisers.

Registration Data

Some of our partner applications and sites may collect registration data such as age, zip code, gender and other individual information in order to provide better application services. Cirius may access said registration data in order to better match ads to mobile visitors, but PII is never accessed or retained for this purpose.

Mobile Cookies and Opt-Out

We may also send one or more cookies (small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters) to your computer. You may adjust your computer's web browser settings to refuse all cookies. However, please note that because cookies are widely used, disabling the use of cookies in your web browser may interfere with full use of various websites.

Cirius may provide the capability to track a User's activity on partner mobile sites and applications. This capability may leverage the cookie on a mobile browser where supported, but may also leverage other mobile-device tracking mechanisms where available and applicable. Cirius’ tracking technology does not record any PII on the mobile device. Cirius’ server uses the anonymous behavior and aggregate cluster data to provide more personally relevant content and advertising.

Children’s Privacy

Cirius seeks to be a responsible company relating to the protection of children, including the privacy interest of children. Crius’ websites, products, and services are not developed for, or directed at, children. If you believe our services are resulting in an inappropriate set of interactions with children, please contact us. Disclosure

Non-personal information may be processed by the following entities: our employees, independent contractors, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, business associates, consultants and other service providers. Cirius intends to comply with all properly authorized requests of law-enforcement agencies in matters of public safety.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Over time, Cirius or any of our affiliates may sell or buy other businesses or entities. In the event of such a transaction, any non-personal information collected may be one of the transferred business assets.

Changes to Privacy Policys

Cirius is committed to continually examining and reviewing its privacy practices, and may make changes to this Privacy Policy. In the event that any material changes are made to the company's privacy practices, we will promptly make changes to this privacy policy that discloses the changes.
